Craft A Con is a nerd convention located in the southern Louisiana area that uniquely offers the opportunity for local artists, crafters, and creators to have the exclusive opportunity to be the only vendors at the events. This is in an effort to let creativity shine, where it may sometimes be forgotten about at similar functions. The event was brainstormed in 2024 by Louisiana Retro Con's director, when he realized the abundance of talented creators at events that go unnoticed. Now, it's time for the vast amount of creatives to be seen.

The inaugural debut of the very first Craft A Con will take place on October 4th from 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM, and October 5th from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM in 2025 at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium in Morgan City, Louisiana. The event will proudly be giving away over $1,500 in COSPLAY CONTEST prizes on the Saturday portion of the event, as well as other activities such as Sanctioned TCG gaming, a FREE board game area, a LEGO FREE Play Zone, and so much more! General Admission for a single day is just $15, Weekend Pass is $25, and Day Passes for Ages 12 & Under is ONLY $5!
